What is WiFi Folder?

WiFi Folder is a smart WiFi USB stick that, together with a user-friendly desktop application, automatically synchronizes files from a folder on your computer to a device (e.g., CNC machines, embroidery devices, sewing, mixing, printing, cutting devices, etc.) to which the WiFi Folder is connected.

WiFi Folder is the ideal solution for:

• CNC machines and devices
• Embroidery devices
• Other industrial devices (sewing, printing, cutting, ...)

Supports all file formats and all major operating systems.

How the solution works

1.) Install the desktop application

Install the desktop application on your computer and select the folder you want to synchronize.

2.) Set up the WiFi Folder

Connect the WiFi Folder to your computer and use the desktop application to create a configuration file, save it to the WiFi Folder, and restart it.

3.) Automatic file synchronization

When the WiFi Folder is connected to your wireless network, all changes in the selected folder are automatically transferred and immediately available on the device.

Operating modes of the solution

1.) STA mode (Station Mode)

WiFi Folder connects to an existing wireless network like a regular device (e.g., phone or laptop). It enables management and internet access within the home or business network without cables. Ideal for a reliable internet connection.

2.) AP mode (Access Point Mode)

WiFi Folder creates its own wireless network to which devices, such as a computer, connect. Suitable for environments without internet, e.g., laboratories or field measurements, where you need an isolated and secure connection.

Formatting the WiFi Folder,
built-in.

The USB stick is already formatted and ready for immediate use. If for any reason you want to reformat it, press and hold the button on the stick for seven seconds before turning on the device – this will trigger the built-in formatting functionality.
